What We Do Differently

Recovery in a Setting Built for It

Everything about the residence and the program is chosen for one purpose: making the hardest weeks of recovery humane, safe, and steady.

  • A 24/7 Clinical Care Model

Our program is designed around continuous clinical support. Detox and early recovery are never navigated alone or unmonitored.

  • A Real Home, Not a Ward

A quiet residential setting in east Mission Viejo: comfortable bedrooms, shared meals, and the dignity recovery deserves.

  • Nutrition & Comfort

Fresh, chef-prepared meals daily, comfortable furnishings, and a calm household rhythm that lets depleted bodies restore.

  • The Lake Next Door

Minutes from Lake Mission Viejo. Walks by the water and time outdoors are part of the program, not a perk.

  • Whole-Person Wellness

Yoga and sound bath classes, mindfulness practice, and movement: evidence-informed supports that run alongside clinical care.

  • Family in the Plan

Family-systems therapy is core to the model, because addiction is systemic and recovery works best when the whole household heals.

Daily Life

A Life Worth Returning To

Recovery is more than the absence of a substance; it is the rebuilding of a life. Days at Everwell are shaped by nourishing food, purposeful movement, and moments of real connection.

Daily Wellness: Yoga, Meditation & Sound Bath

Mornings begin gently. Instructor-led yoga and breathwork meet every experience level, built around what early-recovery bodies actually need. Sound bath sessions support the nervous-system regulation that makes the rest of treatment land.

Connection: Recreation and Real Downtime

Recovery includes learning to enjoy an ordinary evening again. A ping-pong table, board games, shared spaces, and unhurried time with people doing the same work.

Our Commitment to Standards

State Licensure in Progress

Everwell Recovery is completing licensure with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) ahead of our late 2026 opening. We'll publish our license number and a direct state verification link here the day it is granted, because you should never have to take a treatment facility's word for it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What substances does Everwell Recovery treat?

Everwell provides medical detox, residential treatment, and structured aftercare planning for alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, heroin, benzodiazepines, cocaine, and methamphetamine, along with co-occurring mental health conditions (dual diagnosis).

Is Everwell Recovery open yet?

We open in late 2026; our California state licensure is in progress. We're accepting pre-admission inquiries now. Call (949) 633-7463 to talk through timing, treatment fit, and planning for yourself or a loved one.

How long does detox typically take?

It depends on the substance, the severity of dependence, and individual health, but typically 3 to 10 days. Our medical team assesses your needs and provides a personalized timeline.

What makes Everwell different?

A 24/7 clinical care model in a genuinely home-like residence near Lake Mission Viejo: evidence-based treatment (CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), often called medication-assisted treatment, when indicated) paired with chef-prepared meals, yoga and sound bath classes, and time outdoors by the lake.

Can family members be involved during treatment?

Yes. LMFT-led family-systems therapy is a core part of the program design, and visitation is coordinated with your care team.

What happens after residential treatment?

Every client leaves with a written aftercare plan built before discharge: outpatient referrals, peer support connections, medication management where relevant, and a concrete relapse-prevention strategy.

Do you take insurance?

Insurance and payment options are being finalized ahead of opening. Contact our team and we'll walk through your coverage questions and the options available for your situation.
