Clinical Services
How We Treat
Eight services woven into every treatment plan: evidence-based therapy at the core, whole-person wellness alongside it.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is confidential, clinically structured one-on-one work: a private space to explore the psychological, emotional, and behavioral patterns beneath substance use, and to build the understanding, coping skills, and resilience that recovery runs on.
Learn more →Group Therapy
Group therapy turns recovery from a solitary effort into a shared one. Change happens through connection, honest feedback, and accountability among people who genuinely understand, because they're doing the same work.
Learn more →Medication-Assisted Treatment (MOUD)
Medication-Assisted Treatment combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapy. Clinicians now call this approach medications for opioid use disorder, or MOUD, and for alcohol, medications for alcohol use disorder, though many people still know it as MAT. SAMHSA recognizes the combination as a gold-standard practice that improves treatment retention and outcomes. At Everwell Recovery, medical staff use buprenorphine (Suboxone), naltrexone (Vivitrol), and acamprosate when clinically indicated: normalizing brain chemistry, blunting euphoria, easing cravings, and helping you function without intoxication.
Learn more →Family Therapy
Addiction is systemic, not isolated. It reshapes families, and families shape recovery. Family therapy at Everwell will be led by licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) who work with the whole system, so the home you return to reinforces recovery instead of straining it.
Learn more →Holistic & Wellness
Recovery involves the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Everwell's wellness program runs alongside clinical treatment (never in place of it): yoga, guided meditation, sound bath sessions, and walks by Lake Mission Viejo that teach the body calm it can keep.
Learn more →Nutritional Counseling
Substance use is hard on the body: appetite fades, nutrients run low, and eating patterns unravel. Nutritional counseling gives you one-on-one guidance to rebuild physical strength, so the body can carry the work the rest of treatment asks of it.
Learn more →Puppy Yoga
Some of recovery is hard clinical work. Some of it is remembering that life can feel good again. Puppy yoga pairs a gentle, all-levels yoga session with friendly puppies loose in the room, and it is exactly as joyful as it sounds.
Learn more →Relapse Prevention
Relapse prevention is structured, practical preparation for high-risk moments, built on the honest premise that those moments will come, and that what happens next depends on the plan you rehearsed in advance.
