Immersive, Structured Care

Residential Treatment

Residential treatment is where recovery takes root: living in a structured, supportive home while working daily with therapists, groups, and wellness practices.

After detox stabilizes the body, residential treatment rebuilds the life around it. The program is designed as clinically managed, high-intensity residential care, in line with ASAM Level 3.5. Days at Everwell follow an intentional rhythm of individual therapy, group sessions, family work, movement, meals, and rest, inside a residence designed to feel like a home, not an institution.

Treatment plans are individualized. Evidence-based clinical care, including CBT, trauma-informed therapy, motivational interviewing, and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) when indicated, is paired with holistic practices like yoga, sound bath sessions, and time outdoors near Lake Mission Viejo.

A Day at Everwell

  1. Morning

    Ground & Begin

Mornings start gently: breakfast prepared by our chef, then movement or mindfulness before the day's first therapy session.

  2. Midday

    The Clinical Core

Individual therapy, group sessions, and family work anchor the middle of the day, with lunch and unstructured time to process in between.

  3. Evening

    Connect & Rest

Dinner together, then recreation: a walk, the ping-pong table, quiet time by the water. The day ends with an early, consistent wind-down, because sleep is part of treatment.

What Residential Care Includes

Continuing Your Journey

What Comes Next

Residential care ends with a plan, not a cliff. Before completing treatment, every client leaves with a written aftercare plan: outpatient referrals, peer support connections, medication management where relevant, and a concrete strategy for high-risk moments.

Questions About Residential Treatment

How long is residential treatment?

Length of stay is individualized. It depends on clinical need, progress, and what you're returning to. Your care team reviews this with you regularly rather than fixing it on day one.

Can my family visit or participate?

Yes. Family involvement is a core part of the model. Family therapy sessions are scheduled as part of treatment, and visitation is coordinated with your care team.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing, personal essentials, and any current prescriptions. The admissions team walks you through a complete packing list before arrival.
