From Arrival to Aftercare

  1. Arrival & Intake (Day 1)

You'll be welcomed at the residence, meet the team, and complete a thorough medical and clinical assessment. Intake shapes your personalized plan: substance history, medical needs, co-occurring conditions, and your own goals. Then: a real meal, your room, and rest.

  2. The First Days

If detox is part of your plan, the early days center on getting through withdrawal safely and comfortably: clinical monitoring, comfort medications where indicated, food, and sleep. Expect the schedule to be gentle at first and build as you stabilize.

  3. The Daily Rhythm

Days follow an intentional structure: morning movement or mindfulness, individual therapy, group sessions, chef-prepared meals, wellness practices like yoga or sound bath, time outdoors near the lake, and unhurried evenings.

  4. Family Contact

Family involvement is coordinated with your care team: scheduled family therapy sessions, planned visits, and clear communication expectations, balanced with the space treatment requires.

  5. What to Pack

Comfortable clothing for about a week (laundry is available), personal toiletries, current prescriptions in original packaging, a small number of personal comforts, and your ID and insurance information. The admissions team sends a complete list, including what to leave home, before arrival.

  6. Leaving With a Plan

Well before discharge, you and your therapist build a written aftercare plan: outpatient referrals, peer support, medication management if relevant, and a concrete strategy for high-risk moments.

Questions about any step? Ask our team. That's what pre-admission conversations are for.

Common Questions

Can I bring my phone or laptop?

Device policies balance connection with the focus treatment needs, and are reviewed with you before arrival so there are no surprises on day one.

What are the bedrooms like?

The residence is a home in a quiet Mission Viejo neighborhood: comfortable bedrooms, shared living spaces, and outdoor areas. Photography will be published as we complete furnishing ahead of opening.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Our chef accommodates allergies, medical diets, and cultural or religious needs. Tell the admissions team during pre-admission and it will be arranged before you arrive.
